Bennett Suzuki Violin Studio of Portland

Edie Bennett has taught Suzuki Method violin lessons for more than 35 years, and specializes in teaching young children.  Her students range in age from  2 to adult.  Edie is a certified teacher with a Masters Degree.  During her many trips to Japan, she has trained extensively with Shinichi Suzuki, the founder of the Suzuki Method.  Although some of her students have chosen music as a career, Edie's main goals are to help her students to love the violin, play well, enjoy music, and for music to enrich their lives.

Edie currently offers the following on a weekly basis:  introductory group lessons, buddy lessons, parent/child lessons, private lessons and group lessons.  Lessons are offered year-round, new classes begin every month, students can sign up any time, and there is no contract to continue lessons.
